Happy Hearts and Chocolate Day!

If you didn't know it, I am a semi-chocoholic. Yes, I'll choose a chocolate truffle or a scoop of chocolate mint ice cream over a cheeseburger 9 times out of ten. Why is this information I want to share? Well, Valentines Day, like Easter and Christmas, has a wonderful aspect. At midnight, Wal-Mart and Target put all leftover chocolates in the 50% off bin. I have made the midnight chocolate stockpile run with friends over the years and we leap into the fray head first to get our cherry cordials at half price.
When I bought my 2006 calendar the first things I put on it were birthdays, hair appointments, and the days the chocolates go on sale. I have to have my priorities, right? Enjoy your V-Day and when you spot someone buying a chocolate rose or a sampler box, smile and think of me tackling someone to get at the last bag of Dove extra dark. Cheers folks!

YAY for cheap-chocolate day! God, how I love the Dove milk-chocolate hearts. They are just divine!! Happy Valentine's Day, pumpkin. I LOVED your card about old men going commando!

Old men going commando? Are you talking about me again?

You discover the best stuff Mary. I'll be out a Target's tonight -- because I have a real problem with chocolate.

One caveat...dark chocolate is good for your blood pressure! Look it up!
